Sllime Algae???

Hi I'm new to the forum. I looked through the treads for red algae. Most say it is in the sand and blanket like. Mine is on 2 of my rocks in spots. When my lights were off last night the one spot went away but now it is comin back with the light on. I took 2 pics not that good but hopefully someone can help me.
SOme background. Tank has been up and running since October 5, 2008. Nitrates and NItrite are at 0. 1 damsel and a few crabs is all that is in the tank. Had another damsel but that is a funny story for another time. Did a small water change Sunday. The red stuff didn't show up till I had to tear apart my tank Monday to catch the 2nd damsel that was in my tank.
My friend said to turn off the lights for a few days and do water changes. I'm gonna turn off my light tomorrow. I have a Kenya tree I just put in there and I'm waiting for it to attach. Anything else I can do? Thanks

Hard to tell from your pictures, but it may be cyano. Do a search on here for cyano, there are a ton of threads about it

It is the start of cyano(sp) So I did a water change, added a power head and have shut my lights off. I will do another water c hange SUnday and hopefully that will rid me of the problem. I just have to remember not to over feed.
