Small Creatures Crawling on LR

Hi all,
I was looking at my tank very carefully last night and noticed these small light brown creatures walking on my LR. They are about 2 - 4 millimeters in length and about a millimeter thick and it seemed they had 2 very thin tenacles on their head. They would quickly run around (NOT CRAWL or SLIDE) on the surface of my LR and just go into the holes in the rocks. I have no clue what they were. I saw about 3-4 of them.
Anyone have a clue what they are?

probably a pod of some sort. run a search for amphipod or copepod.

I think that's what it is. I haven't been able to get a good glimpse of them, cuz they keep running around on the rock and hiding in the holes, but most likely it's what I saw.

Yeah that sounds like them... once you shine the light on them they like to run back into their holes.
