Lets see who has the most colorful small nano desk tank. When i say desk tank i mean those small .50 - 1 gallon tanks. I really like those.

I guess it would look a little better if the pic were to post. Specs on the pic look fine under 500 x 500 and only 27k? Any help?

Where can you get 50/50 bulbs for those lights, I have 2 tanks and I dropped one of the lights and broke the bulb.

Absolutely wonderful!!, I can only imagine what it'd look like with a couple more corals in there!
I have a 2.5 waiting to be turned into a nano, I'm gonna get started on asap now : )
I'm thinking about putting a green/yellow clown goby or some other goby in there, have you thought about putting a fish in there?
edit: Almost forgot, where did you get your hood from, and what kind of lighting are you running, a 50/50PC?
edit2: How often do you do water changes and top offs? Right now that's my only concern.

Otradnoje, I custom built the hood myself out of wood. It was fairly simple to do. I used two 13 watt bayco bookworm lights (found at lowes) for the lighting. One was 50/50, the other was full actinic. Topoffs were done probably every other day, but if you are concerned about it you could look into a float switch. And I only did wc every few weeks since there wasn't anything in the tank getting fed, I didn't have any waste to be concerned about.
Here is a thread that I started about it. It gives you more info.

Another pic of the 2.5 gal. You'll find Gordon, a mantis shrimp, king of the office tank, in the bottom center of the picture, stalking an easy meal.
