Do the little 1/2 gallon nano tanks need to cycle or no ? A pic of what I am talking about is here ...

just use water, rock and sand from your main tank. then no cycle is needed.

Vibe I am wanting one of those little guys now too cause I'm poor and I need something that wont be a hassle when I move. SO I was wondering what kinda test kits do ya need for something that small and where can you find replacement lights?

just the normal kits as if you had a real tank. the replacement lights i think you can get at a pet store. bring the bulb with you and maybe the light fixture itself. good luck
