Hi, new to the site, thanks!! Just started a 55 gallon saltwater, will have reef eventually when established. I'm looking for a submersible heater that is small enough to fit in the open section of Eshopps 75CS. Is there one that will heat up a 55 gallon enough or am I stuck with an in tank heater? Thanks.

Hi,
Welcome to the site. I don't know what a 75CS is. If you run a canister filter you can get an in-line heater that attaches to the output hose of the canister. OR If you have a sump and use hoses I like do, you can put the in-line on the return hose.
Hydor brand is what I have.

Thanks Flower,
The Eshopps 75CS is a wet/dry filter. Eshopps makes several sizes and the 75CS is the smallest one so the sump piece has the smallest area to fit a heater, that's why I'm looking for one that is small but strong. I'll look into the inline ones you mentioned. Thanks.
