small tubes on rock

I bought some live rock.
It is white colored, and has some small tubes on it, they are also white, and about the size of spaghetti. These are not upright or waving around, but are "stuck" to the rock, in other words they look lifeless. Are these small feather dusters? Are they alive? What should I do with them?

They are featherdusters, harmless. They may be lifeless because they are shy right now, or they are just the old tubes in there with no worm.
