small white snails

hi
i have a 55 acurlic with the built in filter int he back. i have these small white snails that seams to breed in the back then slowly migrate into the front of the tank. they guy at lfs told me that they eat coraline is this true and how do i get rid of them in that case.

What shape are they? Pyramid? If they're pyamid shaped, more than likely they're Limpet Snails, harmless.
