smallest ray and shark

what is the smallest stingray and smallest shark available for saltwater tanks? I am going to upgrade my tank size soon, and I would like one after lots of research, but just wanted to get an idea of what smaller kinds are out there, and readily available.

I would go with a Great White if it was me. They should do good in a 55 gallon..

Smallest shark you're going to find is the Coral Cat...which would still need at least a 180 - 240gal. tank.
You're not gonna find a ray that'll do well in anything under 240 - 300gal. tank, depending on the footprint of the tank.

Ok that is what I was thinking. what are some of the different sharks that could go in a 180?

Dogfish are sharks. There are quite a few species, but the smallest ones will still grow to 30" - 40" in length.

yeah i didnt know the dogfish at the shed were only like 12 inches but cool to know
