snail babies

A few months back I bought 3 Turbo's. They are all dead now, but I seem to have 13 or 14 baby snails that stays on my filter and tubes. Is it common for snails to breed like that. THanks Ya'll

I had astrea snails that did that and then about a hundred little snails popped up a little while later that hung around the pumps and only came out at night! I am not sure but I thought I read on a post that they weren't offspring from the snails but were something else all together! I would like some info myself!

I had some that had babies and now I have hundreds but they are a smaller spieces with the spyril cone shape shell. I can't remeber there name.

My fuge glass is loaded with baby snails. I believe astrea or strombus. I call it cutting out the middle man on a new clean up crew for the future!
