Snail Caught in Powerhead

Can everyone give me some feedback on the survival rate on a Turbo Snail being caught in a powerhead. I know that it's only a snail but I have a problem with any living creature dying who I am responsible for. I have no idea how long it was caught but I do know that it was moving after I released it. Thanks very much.

It will probably be fine, since they have a protective shell, he likely just hunkered down and weathered the storm.
