How do you tell if a snell is dead? I have two large turbo snails that havnt moved in three days, I pulled them out of the tank for a quick sniff and they smell fine. Is this normal for them not to move for that long? They have been in the tank for over a week and had been moving a little. Any help is appreciated.

I dont know if this would help, but I got some turbo snails a couple of weeks ago and was going thru the same thing nothin in 2 days. I checked my salinity and it was just low. I pulled the salinity up (where it should of been!!) and all the heads popped up and they have been going ever since!

Good point.... salinity and temp are important to snails. :D

My salinity stays at a constant 123.5 ( I add top off water daily) and the temp also stays constant at 80 degrees.
