Snail ID

Ok there are some strange things going on in my tank. I picked up 4 large mexican turbos a few days ago and then today I found a tiny (1/4") snail running around on the sand. Then he buried himself completely in the sand and stuck up his antenna like a submarine. Anybody know of anything like this? Any ideas where he came from?

Little guy white with a little bit of brown on the shell. Nothing to worry about. I am sure I will spell this worng because I am in a hurry and don't have time to look it up it a nasaurrius snail. They are good scanavngers.

Definately a Nassarius snail.
Very good at sifting through the substrate.

they dont always have a brown shell i have like 10 that are big nassarious and OMG they are amazing i love em and they have a white shell and their body on average is like 2 inches they have difficulties climbing up..well down glass as their weight or something is too powerful for them and they usually end up sky diving...well maybe water diving head first into the sand...i know i shouldnt find this funny but i do...hehe
