Snail out of shell?

is it possible for turbo's to come out of their shells? I have a snail/slug looking thing crawling on my LR. pretty gross....

Could be a Stomatella snail.

Snails can't leave their shells. You probably have a nudibranch, can you get a pic of it?

just did a google search....yeah, it's a Stomatella. that's cool I guess.

Hey Joe,
What does it look like? Amazingly, after about 6 weeks of being up and running, with all the same rock, same equipment...OK, changed to RO water for changes and top offs, suddenly within the last couple of days I'm finding more and more critters in my tank. Last night I found 3 asterina stars, and when I looked in the tank today I saw hundreds/thousands of pods all over the glass...whew...very exciting. I've also found a couple of really little things that look like what you described. I'm told not to worry about them and that they're good for the little eco system we're trying to establish.
