snail problems

for saome reason every time i buy snails they only live for a couple days. everything else in the tank is doing fine. its just the snails. they die prolly 3-6 days after i get them. does anyone know what could be the problem?

Have you tested your water quality? I've always been told inverts & snails die first if there is poor water quality.

do you have alot of algae for them to eat? and do you have hermits? if there is no algae and hermits then i have found that the hermits will turn to the snails for food.

Water perameters? Did you acclimate them? Most people don't acclimate snails, because they think "well, it's just a snail, it will be ok." Do you have a enough algae for them to eat? Not too much though.
