Snail problems

I'm having a problem with snails. every snail I have bought has died, old ones, new ones they just died. I have green polyps, and a carpet amenome in the tank and they are doing fine after I added more lights.
salinity is 1.021
pH is 8.2
Alk is 10 (dKH)
Ammonia is less than .25ppm
and well Calcium...my test says 600ppm(i know thats not right, I think the test is defective)
and there is no copper in the water, oh and I use R/O water (about a 20% change every 10 days or so)
I need some help, I have tried to find the answer but I have found nothing useful.

Give us a lot more info-Nitrates? Nitrites? Phosphates?- Salinity seems a bit low, shouldn't have any ammonia, calc is high if your test is accurate. What size tank, how old is it,live rock, inhabitants?

lets see the tanks is about 2 years old, and I have two percula clowns and a ornaite wrasse, 3 scarlet hermit crabs, 2 blue legged hermit crabs, and a very large emerald crab. as for the Nitrite level it 0,02 mg/l and the nitrate is 10 mg/l and I don't have a phosphate test, was told really didn't need it, oh and the tanks 33 gal.

i dunno what i'm talking about, but just as a thought, the guys at my LFS, recommend not letting salinity drop below 1.022 for invertibrates. Maybe it's just the lower salinity?

If your amn is at .25 ppm then I'll bet your no2 and no3 are a lot higher than you think. That could be your problem.
