I've been cycling my 12g nano for the last 3 weeks or so. I began with about 5lbs of l/r along with 10lbs of sand. On Saturday I added another 15lbs of rock that I purchased off of a local reef site. Everything was going well until tonight when I noticed a small snail cruising across the glass of my tank. I quickly flipped on the actinics and caught approximately 20 dime sized starfish duck into cover as well as about 15 small snails all over the l/r. My cleaning crew has been at work since I put the new rock in. I have 3 turbos/3astrias/3 nassarius/5 hermit crabs scouring the tank. I cannot find any resources online or in my reef book that talk about these snails or starfish. Can anybody help?
