snails being killed

a few of my hermits are consistantly attacking my turbos. ive had 3 die because of the crabs. all of the snails that died were very healthy too. they tend to climb to the top of the tank and then fall to the sand. when they're on their backs on the sand the hermits attack them. the hermits are bluelegs and i believe stripped hermits. they have plenty of shells to change into as well and the snails are at least 2times their size. i dont know what to do.
( the stripped hermits tend to do the killing...the bluelegs then close in to try to get the shell)
please help me with my problem. :help:

first off, if a turbo falls on its back, it wont be able to get back up. so whenever you do see a turbo on its back, pick it up and put it where ever. and also, maybe the shells you have for the hermits are to small for them. if neither works and you really want your turbos to live, get rid of the striped hermits.
