I have got snials growing out my ace. I would liek to keep my tank intact, keep my large snails, (4-5 inch shells) but they have procreated and now I have about 30 small baby snails what can i do, or can I do anything. I have been just physically taking them out one by one but I can't get them all.

I have two kinds both of which are gulf, breeds. but I am not shure what their names are. I am not good with names, but one carries a king conk shell the other carries a simmilar shell with a long point. very commin shells on the beaches of florida. I am not shure how they were acquired but I know the person I bought them from had them for atleast 3 years.
The small ones I have are not the same breed however they are small black slindrical and cone shape. I will try to get a pic in the next day or so if you have no idea.....
Thanks for your help.

Snails are great for a reef tank, and especially sand sifting snails with a dsb.
Keep them !

If you think i should then I will, i trust this message board and the mediators on it. As for the pics. theones i want to keep two of them are the first pic but as for the ones i want to getrid of are neather. The first pic is an example of the smaller of the ones i want to keep. and the two of them are approximatly 4 inches and 3.5 inches.

Hey Bang guy,
What kind of snail is in that second pic? I have 2 of those in my tank and only see them at night. No idea where they came from though. I spotted them only a few weeks ago and did not add anything where they could've hitchiked, so I guess they've been there for a while unoticed.
