Please list the actual numbers. Also how old is your tank and how did you acclimate them( How long have you had them)?

Any ammonia is stressful. Your SG is low for inverts, it should be 1.025 or 1.026. How long ago did you get them? How did you acclimate them? Was the tank cycled?

tank has been cycled for 6 months i got them 2 months ago i scclimated them by putting a .5 cup of water in the bag for about a half hour

Sepu is 100% correct, Low salinity and especially amonia are the most deadly to snails with Hermit crabs a distant 3rd.. Where is your amonia coming from?

A water change will temporarily help with your anomia problem, until you find the source. But that will not help with you specific gravity.. its needs to come up to about 1.025-26 with a tank with corals and iverts.. Use the (replace your top-off water with salt water method).

That was not nearly long enough. Inverts need at least 3-4hrs of drip acclimation. They are very sensitive to changes and can take over a month to die from acclimation shock and/or poor environment. Get your ammonia and nitrites (you will see a small spike) to zero and get your SG up before adding more inverts.
