snake head anemones

hi all.
anyone have a snake head anemone?
are they easy to keep as i'm on the reciving end of one either tommoro or wed.
i have two clowns (falses) and was hoping that would be nice for them to have as they are trying to host everything that they can get thier fins on lmao!
any info or experiance will be greatfull.

Never heard of one and before you bring it in be sure what you are getting and also that your lights are up to the task. You need either T5's or MH's.
What is your setup currently?

Do you mean Snakelocks Anemone (Anemonia viridis)? If so, an anemone found in Britain and the Medeterrain. So I'm reasoned to think they'd need somewhat more temperate water then your usual reef tank. They are found in shallow waters, so bright lighting as mentioned, is a must.
Also it's worth mentioning, it's an Atlantic anemone, so there's no natural hosting fish (there's no clownfish in the Altantic). So you run a risk of losing the clownfish, esp if the anomone has a quite powerful sting. Which I believe the Snakelocks does. I saw some pics searching of people who've come into contact with a Snakelock, wow! Nasty stuff. If it is a Snakelocks, better left to a species only tank.

yeah here in uk they called snake head and snake lock i went to lfs this mornng recomending that i should stay clear of them.
so i've canceld the order i lost only £5 out of it but it not bothers me..
but insted i baught a night goby watch man. costs a bit more but i think i'll be happy with him lol cheers for info guys...
