alright I know some of you guys have snakes, so plz help!!
my uncle just bought a ball python for his son and has asked me to help him gather all the stuff for it's tank. If any body has any info that could help please chip in.
I need to order everything tonight offline

You really just need a heating system (not hotrock!) like flexwatt tape on a thermostat in an escape proof enclosure. I've bred snakes for a long time, I mostly go with rubbermaid bins and homemade structures. But if you have the proper temperature range, a clean bowl of water and even some newspaper to hid under are all that it needs.

my uncle wants a tan gallon tank for the snake but that sounds awfully small to me. what do you think?

A ten gallon is ridiculous! Don't ever put a snake in glass. You can, and people have for years, but that gives the automatic weak point for a tight fitting lid, and they are heavier, harder to clean and can break.
Go to a snake website like cornsnake dot com for "getting started" pamphlets and useful forums for snake care.

ok i have a bp so i can help. first off is it cb? if so then u shouldnt have a prob feeding. if a large enough tubberware isnt found or appealing i would say go for a vision cage. they can be exspensive but r durable and have a lock on the door. depending on size i would recommend feeding it hoppers to mice depending if it over six inches. http://lllreptile.com/info/library/a...-/ball-python/

I have two ball pythons
I have a 50gal breeder cage "its glass and it has a tight fitting lid"
75watt night light
150watt day light basking bulb
A critter hut
4" deep water dish
dont use any type of ceder it will kill them cause the oil
use repti bark
If the girth "spelling" is about the size of a quater then ur able to feed it a mouse but if you want to power feed you can feed it a mouse and a hopper to make it gain weight and grow longer just a tad faster
