There's been a lot of snake threads on here lately and I thought I would try and get a few people shaken up.

BTW, soma, I watch Crocidile Hunter. I am not uneducated. :nope:

i would consider myself educated about them as well and they still scare the pee out of me. i tried having one around my neck for my senior pictures (crap that was almost 10 years ago) and i freaked out. I know as long as i dont go near them they will leave me alone, and steve crocodile hunter is nuts when he picks up a 15 foot cobra.

I for one don't get it... Snakes are not just pets, they're a fascination. People don't simply keep snakes the way you would a dog or cat, they are either fascinated or totally grossed out by them. I am neither. I will hold one and "pet" them, and even watch them eat. But they are not THAT interesting to me. They don't do much (except when they're eating). And I don't get the fear thing either. Most of the snakes I've seen have not been that threatening, unless it's feeding time. But do that many people have phobias or is it an attention getter thing?

Everything in this thread was meant to be a joke. To me that is what's so funny. You honestly thought I was serious about the crocodile hunter education thing. Learn to have some fun and joke around a little, soma.
BTW, I still say that snakes suck.
