Snow day

we got like six inches of snow last night
us desert folk dont know how to react to all this cold white stuff so EVERYTHING is closed down

Snow in NOTHING but then again I live in Northern IL were we get about 70-80 inches thru the winter. Now If you really want to see fun in TX take 3 inches of snow then add 1/2 inch of ICE on top then put rain on top of that. I will be in the nearest parking lot watching the DEMOLITION DERBY.

heck yeah, but it is more fun when there is 2 inches of ice on all the roads, you don't need the rain or the snow.

We went to North Carolina for a golf getaway and ran into a freak snowstorm in April 10-12 years ago. We, being from Ohio, decided to turn around after playing one round during the freezing cold, and go back to Ohio. The people that were coming out of houses, apartments, stores, office buildings, etc... to look at the people crazy enough to drive in the snow was hilarious. We got stopped about 20 minutes into our trip by a sheriff that wanted to make sure that we knew that there was a Winter Weather Advisory for their fine county. We assured him that we, being Ohioans, knew what to do in the snow. Best part was, we got back within an hour of home and it was 65 and sunny, so we played golf back in Ohio.

oh crap i just now noticed one of my kids wrote ho in the snow.... anyways it will probably be 84 degrees here tomorrow

That's not good... That means that stuff is heading my way... Schools were closed last week just for the threat of snow.
