Snowflake Eel Help

I have recently got a snowflake eel is my 40 breeder. He is active and the water checks out fine. However, everytime I try to feed it, the eel does not want to eat. Right now, I am trying to feed it frozen krill. Is there something that will work better and what is the best why to feed the eel?

Go to the grocery store and pick up a variety of fresh seafood. My eel really enjoys mussels and shrimp. Wash it off and put a little piece of it on the end of a feeding stick (or you can use your hand if your brave like some people on this site). Put the food in front of the eel and get his attention with it. Once you have his attention the show will be on. Good luck.

Don't worry too much about using your hand if he's just a little SFE. I've been feeding my SFE with my hand for six months or so, and it's easy. Even if he misses the food (or like mine, decides your finger is fun to wrap around) he won't hurt ya, pebble-toothed eels just nibble, don't break skin unless theyre bigger.
So stick your hand in there and make that thing eat!
