Can a SFE be kept in a 20 Gallon tank?

well only if its like a 6-10 inch one kept by itself

Would it have to be placed in a larger tank once it reaches full size?
If so I don't want to get it.
I don't have and won't have a larger tank for it to go into.
My 55 has shrimp in it that I don't want to become dinner.

how many shrimp? why not just put them in the 20 gallon and put the eel in the 55...if you really wanted one.

I really think that it might increase my bioload too much.
In my 55 gallon I have.........
2-Ocellaris
1-Lawnmower Blenny
1-Royal Gramma
1-Coral Beauty
1-BTA
1-Cleaner Shrimp
1-Peppermint Shrimp
Would it be okay with these fish and inverts?
If I put it in my 55, I would have to know that I could trust it with my Cleaner Shrimp.
