Snowflake eel?

Is it ok for me to have a snowflake eel in a reef tank, i dont have my tank set up yet but for future reference could i do it, cuz i was at the lfs today and i saw one and well.........i want one. So im just wondering if it would work?

you couldnt have one with any small fish! it would eat them and there is the chance that it will knock rocks over! ive been told yes and no.. it really just depends on its temperament and whether you want to take the chance or not!

you will need twice as much filters if you have one in a reef, what ever you feed comes out the other end. but yes they are reef safe, i have had one for 2 years in my reef and doing fine.
glue your rocks together, make a cave for them and no small fish.
