Snowflake Eel

i have a snowflake eel that i have had for about 6 months. when i got him he was about a 1.5 feet long. now he is about 2 feet. i am trying to find a good home for him because i am going to convert to a coral tank, and this site says that they are not reef safe. anyone want a free fish? must go to a good home.

really? thats good to know. thanks. he has been in my tank with shrimp for some time now, i just keep him well fed

you don't need to get rid of him though .. they're fine with corals .. won't even pay attention to them .. they usually eat shrimp if they're hungry though .. unless they recognize it as a cleaner species and they'll know not to kill it .. but some eels shoot first and ask later so you usually can't keep them with shrimp
