Not to worry yet. As discussed some eels will eat daily (one of mine does) and some will not (my baby one skips a day from time to time). There are members here who believe they should be fed twice a week and others like me who if they appear I will offer them food. When you say it has stopped you did not say how long since it last eat a full meal. The fact it ate a bit today may only mean like Puffers it ate too much the last time. They will sometimes gorge themselves if given the chance. I never had eels till I bought the 2 I now have (different tanks) a few months back and now I am a eel lover like many others.

What have you been feeding the eel while it was eating? I recomend dryd krill, goast shrimp, fresh crab, and any other fresh sea food. It is important to feed it a variaty of foods :)

With my experience with morays they are inconsistent eaters, so don't worry. Just feed a little everyday if you like, or feed him until full two or three times a week. And definately vary the diet, I alternate between clams, squid, krill, and silversides during the week. This will make all of your fish happy....
