Thank you fshhub and everyone who responded to my posts. (BTW I shop at Tropics of Tucson in Tucson @ whomever asked the question)... (I used Majestic Sea Life recently, but am currently unhappy with them).
50 gal is cycling slowly. I'm exhausted from all the hauling, mixing and aging sea water and watching my fish & inverts for any signs of stress. I added a total of 40 lbs of Nature's Ocean Sand... to the already 20 lbs of cc sand. The Ammonia is .50 and the Nitrites are less than .25. I'm laying off a little on the water change (just till tonight -- I was doing 5 gal a day. I'll check the levels when I get home -- and change if it is any higher.
