Hi folks,
I know a picture usually says a 1000 words, but in this case it wouldn't help much...
So, what does a fish do/act when it's stung by an anemone?
Last night, my son and I were watching our tank, and out of no where the passer angel came from behind some rocks, and was "curled" over to one side, and was getting blown around by the current in the tank. He didn't look discolored, didn't look unhealthy (thin) in any way.
BUT, he seemed paralyzed - as I mentioned, he was curled over to one side, and using his fins, but he wasn't able to control where he was going in the tank.
This morning, he was laying on the bottom of the tank, still breathing fairly regularly, but on its side - didn't seem to get back his sense of "how to swim."
Does this sound like he got zapped by my anemone? I have a BTA that hangs down in the tank behind some rocks, where a lot of the fish tend to swim (I only have the passer, a yellow tail blue tang, and a bunch of false percs -son's room).
I've never seen this before...
