this is just my way to announce that i think i made the biggest mistake i ever have in my life haha..i had a great healthy reef tank going problem free for over a year and just up and sold it all a few weeks ago..and it SUCKS.i went from reef to predator tank for some reason. i cant beleive i did it and now my friend showed up with 2 big but great looking tangs that he hooked me up with cuz he sold his tank..now i want to go way bigger and do a crazier reef then ever! look at this..tell me what you think of what i had..now all i have is my tomato clown, picasso trigger,tiny panther grouper and i already want to get rid of them..i do have a good sized blue tang and naso in there now so i need to get my bigger tank within weeks here..i have pics of the predator stuff and the tangs if anyone wants some just make a comment.

I am sorry to hear that you got rid of your reef tank, the rock work looked amazing! I support your decision to go bigger and better with a new reef tank. How many gallons did you have? and how many gallons are you thinking of getting? I would love to see more pictures, maybe of what you ended up with after selling your reef? I am looking forward to a tank build!?!

i am running a 90 right now..and the predator thing is kinda boring to me. my trigger chomps on my sand all day looking for snails etc and completely clouds up my tank daily, my grouper just sits around, and i have always hated my clown"wife picked it out".i will post a few of it now..and a few of my new tangs. i am going nothing smaller then a 180 im hoping..hopefully with metal halides etc. i have never done anyhting with sps corals but i think i am going to try. my buddy here has a 450 gallon solid sps tank. nicest i have ever seen so i can get frags for a deal from him.

and now here are my new buddies and NO ONE get on my case about these guys i am getting a new tank within 2 weeks or so here i didnt even ask for these guys i had them dropped off with no notice from a buddy who sold his tank "some guy just made him an offer".i dont think he took the greatest care of them for feeding anyways..the blue tang doesnt have the greatest color but i will do my best to get it back to how my others have been..

the hippo looks like it has the start of HLLE or am I seeing things in that pic.
I am glad your going to upgrade though gives you a good reason anyway!!

the hippo was beaten up pretty bad by a huge purple tang at my LFS about a year and a half ago while i was working there..all fins were torn etc..i took him home and nursed him back to health all fins are back and look great,just the very very front hasnt completely yet but it is on its way. he is a great fish, i am just going to do my 90 back into a reef and not get anything bigger,so both tangs are up for grabs if anyone wants i will work a deal for many things...they have only been in this tank for 2 weeks but i dont want to keep them in here very long i feel bad.

Too bad you are not enjoying your humu trigger. IMO they are one of the coolest fish. They are constantly moving and are very friendly.

yeah i gave him to a buddy of mine, he stirred up way to much stuff it made my blue tang panic and hes more of a favorite
