SO I need Piping advice

Ok I have the 120g tank and stand here (Pic to come) Now there is a 1" pre drilled over flow. Can someone let me know the best piping for this to the sump/fuge
The other question is I want to go back up to the tank. But I say at my LFS that they had a return that had a sweeping Motion. Does anyone know what that is?

i would use a piece of pvc, or even spa flex for the travel to sump.
i don't know about a sweeping motion return. depending on the pressure coming back up, i'd probably use a splitter and a couple pieces of loc-line.
for flow i'd use powerheads and/or a closed loop. i would not depend on my sump return.

What exactly is a closed loop?
As far as the Piping, Im Sry I did not make that clearer.I am planning to use PVC. But. Should I do a strait 1" down to the sump? Or should I T it off and do 2 down pipes? Do I reduce the size of the down pipe or go 1" all the way? Stuff like that.
