Long story short, my boyfriend and I went to Mexico last month for our three year anniversary and we broke up while we were there. So I (for some reason, I had to) moved out after we got home and moved in with another college student, Jade, who's around my age. She's really nice. Except...last week we got another room mate who is here from Sweden studying...she's older than us, 28. She's really really loud. Eats our food. Sings obnoxiously all the time, even at night. I could get over that.
....but get this.
SHE WALKS AROUND NA--ED . All the time. I mean, all the time. Sunbathing in the front yard. Cooking in the kitchen (isn't that a health hazard?!), doing the laundry, on the beach, you name it. She only puts on clothes for school.
My ex thinks it's hilarious, free p--n he calls it. But seriously, what do I do? Jade and I have no idea how to bring this up.

OK this is an easy one. Let her know that you and your other roommate need to talk to her. When you sit down to talk let her know that you and your other roommate will be moving out and that me, T316, Pumper, and Coral Keeper will be moving in.
Problem solved.
No but seriously you should just tell her that you guys dont feel comfortable with her walking around

come on guys, she needs serious advice. I would give you some, but unfortunantely I fail to SEE the problem with this scenario.

tell her that where she is from it might be perfectly acceptable to be like that but that here in our country we are not comfortable with it and if she would like to be clothed then she can continue to be your roomate but if she refuses to dress she will have to find another residence , if you record her singing loudly and play it back to her one day that will stop the singing fast , and designate a cabinet for each persons food and get locks

I agree with jenny, in her country it maybe acceptable, but not here. Let you know you are uncomfortable with her being unclothed. maybe but her a robe.
Sit her down with a list of house rules an d that if she cant follow them she needs to find other living arrangement

Have a little chat with her and tell her that she is in the US now, not in SWEDEN! Tell her that from a Finnish chick. It's OK to do that at home, but grow up or go home. It's not acceptable here. If she has a problem with that, then she needs to find another place to live.
If she doesn't get it, PM me for my number and I'll have a little heart to heart with her. I can do it even in Swedish.

post a picture (from the neck up or fully clothed) of yourself, your roomate, and the Swedish student.
that way, we can determine if it's truly a problem or just a case of jealousy.
from what I've heard, these Swedes are the most "open" people in the world. never had the good fortune of meeting any Swedish chicks.
without seeing a picture, all I can say is....."at least it's not a french girl".
