so NOW my hippo gets ich!

I have had a FO tank for many years and never seen ich on any of my fish. Now, I have set up a new FOWLR/dsb and am in the process of slowly moving my fish from the old tank to the new one (1 fish every 2 weeks). I moved my hippo tang (I have had him for over a year) last weekend and this morning I saw a few little white specks on him - but not on any of the other fish in the tank. Could this be from the stress of moving to a new (bigger)tank? Will it only get worse? Should I try to catch him again and put him back in the old tank and try to treat him with hyposalinity or should I try garlic first to avoid stressing him even more? I still have 2 more fish left in the old tank to move and do not have a hospital tank, but I know that I can't treat the new tank because of the LR.
Damn, and everything had been going so well. All of my water parameters in the new tank are perfect - much better than in the old tank.
sorry for the long post and thanks for the help.

OY - I'm not looking forward to trying to catch him with all that rock! Also, should I move the two remaining fish from the old tank to the new one so that they don't get infected, or should I leave them in for the hypo treatment? This tank has some decorations (dead corals, shells, etc) and a crushed coral substrate - should I pull all that out except for a few places for them to hide? Hippo is a bit of a shy one - making tough to really see how the spots are, but I was keeping a sharp eye on him.

No new fishes have been introduced to the new tank - they all came from the old tank and I have had all of them for at least a year, the hippo is just the latest one who made the move to the new tank. I did just add a few new snails - are they carriers of ich? The new tank has LR, live sand, snails, and csb so I can not treat the new tank. So now I have to catch all the fish in the new tank and move them all back into the old one?

DAMN, back to square one <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" /> - and it was looking so good! I was really hoping to get that old tank out of my dining room sometime soon.
Thanks for all your help. Mr Tang - those hypo directions will really help, I saw them on an earlier post before I knew that I would have to be using them
