So what's the story with Christine O'Donnell?

Gonna be an interesting race. The Republicans traded a sure win for a candidate who better reflects their views. She has some personal baggage but I am not sure how the Democrats will be able to attack her on it. Most of it has to do with hard financial times. If the tables were turned and she was a Democrat the Republicans couldn't touch her because the media would skewer them for attacking a woman

I think she will do a lot better than the "experts" are predicting.

Reef, she is on tape ranting about the evils of science and that we now have mice with human brains and her views on sex are from the middle ages. Is ignorance of real science or human sexuality a Republican stance? She is just another example of the quality control problem the GOP has IMHO. I really can't figure out either why it is such a death sentence to be a moderate Republican, must every single conservative share the same exact views as the next one?

Crap, what I would give for some serious and intellegent politicians instead of what we are getting.

Because Democrat Lite is why we are hear in the first place. Something is wrong, when Obama can win in a pole vs the republican nominee for prez on who's going to lower taxes. (happened when he got elected)

What I don't get is that everything in politics right now is special interest driven. Democrats tripping over themselves to get the gay vote, black vote, tree hugger vote, union vote etc. While they have this giant group of people conservative Christan, and everyone is doing their best to run away from them, maligned them, and slander them... Heck they're trying to completely disenfranchise them as a voting populous. (just google ACLU and you'll run across something)

Besides, anyone that the media, dems, and the ruling class republicans who told us we needed McCain to win the presidency, hates. Is ok with me...

Her opponent was the most liberal Republican in the house.

As far as her views on sex millions of Catholics hold the same views. She also Rejects evolution as proven science when it comes to human existence. So do a whole lot of other people.

On the other hand her opponent supported cap and tax and a number of other liberal agenda bills.

Like I said it will be interesting to see how she does. I think her financial struggles are going to get her a lot of sympathy votes.

So your not disputing that she said that science has created mice with human brains? Sorry, my nine year old niece is smarter than that Reef, I find the any port in a storm mentality a little dissapointing to be honest.

Which are we looking for again? The link to her saying "mice with human brains" on MSNBC, or the actual article on MSNBC titled "Mice with human brains", that is in fact about mice with human brain cells?

Keep in mind, I find mice with human brains an incredible accomplishment for science. Not trying to spin it as evil, like O'Donnell tried.

lol, I'm sorry, but our president has said we have 57 states... And he's a politician... The greatest orator we've had since Kennedy, reads corps as corpse...

Ron Paul?
You know, I'm in the ron paul neighborhood. And the more and more I talk to these Ron Paulites. The less and less they make any sense. It is like multiple conversations I had during the election with some people around here. and it was "Oh I can't decide on who to vote for between Ron Paul and Obama." I think a lot of those people who voted Obama are now on the Ron Paul bandwagon. And they have no clue why they really like him...

More reason to love her. Everyone hates her... Quite frankly, at this point you almost don't need any other reason to like someone.

I love this Lisa Murkowski, who lost in the Republican primary to one of Sarah Palin's lackey's. Now she says she's looking to run as a write-in candidate, which will most likely split the Republican votes. So Sarah spends all this time and money to get her candidate in the race, and he/she (don't even know the person's name) may lose because she'll lose a substantial number of votes to Murkowski. Would be ironic if that allows a Democrat to take the seat.

I don't think there are enough idiots in Alaska to elect the Democrat. Look at the Florida race. Rubio has a 10 point lead over Crist with the Democrat running 3rd and Florida is a slightly purple state where alaska is red.

If I were a Republican candidate this year my campaign would be "I won't vote for Reid or Pelosi as leader, I oppose bailouts and Obama care and don't think we should raise taxes right now". People are mad and the best way to express that anger is to toss the current party in power.

To bad the media didn't get this worked up when Obama stated in his book he dabbled in Marxism in college. Maybe we wouldn't have the problems we do today

If the media is going to start attacking candidates for the dumb stuff they did in college we aren't going to have many people running for office.
