As we all know triggers and angels have been known to nip at sharks and even eat the eyes of may docile sharks. So the question has be asked to what degree is this true and wht TYPE of trigger will do this.
Will a crosshatch nip at a shark???
will a niger, humm.. i'd say yes but not sure
blue throat male or femle>>>>
Pink tail>>>
Id say any other trigger would but just looking to get some feedback.
thanks.

my lfs recently (bout two months ago) added a 2ft bamboo shark to their aggressive reef, it has a flame angel, yt, male bluethroat and a volitan lion, so far there havent been any probs, the sharks healthy, the triggers very docile, for now evrything seems to be working

I would have to agree, why experiment if your risking the well being of a Shark and or Ray. Sure it may work for a while, but one day chances are it will happen. So I would rather be save than sorry.

Agreed it's just best to keep Angels & Triggers in a seperate tank from sharks.
Don't even risk it.

yup I totaly think the same. Everything I know about them tells me triggers will eat the eyes and nip. BUT I have never seen any research on crosshatch. And no one can tell me any thing about them. Ad as you would have it the LFS says ya you can do it but at $395 for the crosshatch i'd rather shark out my tank. But their is always some one who has done it or tried it so that is why I ask.
