soft vs hard corals?

Anemones are actually invertebrates. They are not related to corals at all.
To thrive, they need strong lighting similar to hard corals.

What you thinking about Willis? :D
The good Dr. is absolutly correct, they are an animal without any bones, much like any other invert that you might put in your tank. However they are not for the inexperienced hobbiest. They require mature tanks, excellent water quality, a reef tank is best not FO or FOWLR, Strong lighting is very important as they are photosynthetic creatures.
