History: Had a fish kill 6 weeks ago....lost all due to my fault....over the past 6 weeks, Ive added cleaner shrimp, feather dusters, did a 20% water change on a 55 gal tank....Just started putting fish back into the tank....before adding, i checked all levels....ph-8.2 amm-0 nitrite-0 trate-0 temp 82
Iadded two clowns that didnt make it more than one day.....I just lost another one that was purchased yesterday from the same LFS.....The only difference were that these clowns were all wild perkulas not tank raised....I waited the 6 weeks for the tank to "clear out" what else can I do....the tank looks great all levels good, inverts are doing great.....thanks

How is this tank set up? In other words..circulation...sump..skimmer..return pump..or? Why did the other fish die? What did the clowns look like/act before they died? How long did the LFS have them before you purchased them<Important}

Never buy fish that just arrived at an LFS. If they have a disease or get one brought on by the stress of being transported it will usually manifest itself in the first few days. WC percs often come in with Brooklynella. How much LR does this tank have? How long set-up? Always check PH and SG of the water in the bag. That will help you guage how long the acclimation should be. Sometimes an LFS will keep a low SG. to keep parasites down. Then a longer acclimation time is needed. 1/2 hour is not long enough. Float the bag for 20 minutes to even out the temp. Then you can either drip acclimate or begin to add 1/2 cup of water every 15 min for at least an hour. Drip acclimation is sometimes best, as long as the fish is'nt thrashing to escape. I have started drip acclimating at home in my sump. I put the fish in a collection cup hanging in the sump and run the drip straight down from the tank above. This keeps the temp even while the fish is being acclimated. I don't like dripping to an external bucket if it can be avoided, as the temp can drop too much. There are little drip acclimaters you can buy at good LFS' now..pretty handy. Or you can just take small airline tubing..start a syphon, then tie a knot in the tubing to slow the drip to 1-2 drips per second.
