I am getting my three new seahorses tomorrow, they are going into my 55 Gal. It's been up and running for 7 months now, I cycled it with aragonite, some live rock, three damsels ( they are removed now), currently there are two cleaner shrimp in there and a sea cucumber. I'm running a power head bio-wheel filter and a 75 skimmer,T-5 HO light, this was my first reef tank.
Ph = 8.2
Nitrates =0 ppm
Nitrites =0 ppm
Cal =410 mg/L
Phos =0
Temp = 77 - 78 F
Just looking for some pointers

It looks pretty good to me. You might want a few more hitches. Maybe add some macros, and a little more base rock. Shaving brushes, and maidens hair are good, also the feather stuff i have. (Cant think of the name) also red kelp.
Its a good place for pods to hide, and horses like to hunt in them.
Teresa
PS What species. You might try to bring the temp down just a hair. maybe add a small clip on fan.

Thank you very much, I just adjusted the heater so I'll bring it down to the 75 - 76 f range, I have caulerpa and red kelp in there already, and i'll add some more rock tommorow. The species are the Black Seahorse, Hippocampus fuscus.
I will post some more pics tommorow or friday when I get the horses in the tank.
