I know, its weird how its just cone shaped instead of a definite head and stalk. one of my favorite corals. I just got rid of a frag off it a few minutes ago to another SWF.com member. they got a few other things too.
I weigher it a couple months ago with the rock its attached to it camwe on a 3 lb rock (roughly) and the coral and rock total weighe 11.63 lbs, Its heavy.

Thanks! I love hearing that. some how the pictures never seem to be as good as looking at it in real life.

Well in this setting 2.5 months. It was up for two months before I moved it here. before that was my 45G high that I switched everything from, before that my 30g before that my 20g going back many many moons. the first coral rock I ever owned is still in that tank and the sand in it is still the original sand with additional sand added as tank size increased of course.
unfortunatly all the coraline died off the back wall when I moved it, so Its going to be a while before its encryusted like my 45g was. I'll see if I can dig up a pic of the 45 just before I tore it down.
