Did you just acclimate them? Or have they been in there a while.

What kind of circulation do you have in your tank. Could be an o2 deficiency.
Any new fish added lately? Could be a newly aquired parasite.
Is HE a new fish??
We will definately need more details about his environment.
Preferably,
tank size
bioload (How many and which kind of fish)
What equipment do you have on/in your tank? (Powerheads, sump, live rock, etc...)

no all the fish have been in there for several weeks at this point.... so acclimtion isnt an issue....
i have a 55 gallon tank with a ehiem canister filter on it... two micro power heads... front top corner... back bottom corner.
bio load isnt an issue.. i have a yellow tail damsel... jawfish... lmb... firefish goby.. bunch of inverts.
water is perfect... my ph was a bit low... maybe 7.8 i dont know what the problem is i always seem to have a lower ph... something keeps buffering it out and i dont know what.
trates - 0.....trites- (maybe 0.1 or 0.2... could even be 0 but very low)... amonia - 0... ph - 7.8.... temp - 81 8..... salinity... just about .024

Hiya,
I'd try and get some more oxygen in the water. Make sure you have good surface water aggitation. You also might want to point one of your power heads towards the bottom of the tank to move some of the oxygenated water to the bottom.

The top of your tank is were the gas exchange occurse so if you dont have anything breaking or "ripling" the top of your water than all the stuff the fish breathes out will stay in the water and they will run out of oxygen you alway want something breaking the top of your tank so this wont happen.
Glad you have it under control now.
