No problem for me - I think they are good ones...
Except the charging all youths in the alcohol one. The one drinking needs an eval and the ones not, should be praised for not succumbing to peer pressure rather than being charged as if they were. However, that doesn't bring in as much money as the other.
The Ordanance is not the problem, judgment of enforcement is... I'd rather make the non drinkers feel good about their choice not to drink rather than make them feel like criminals.

I agree with that Zman 100%.
but I think the point is they knew someone was breaking the law and didnt inform on him or leave, therefore becoming accomplices and just as guilty in the eyes of the law... stupid but thats the way the law works.
its kinda like if some one you know steals a car shows up at your house and tells you the cars stolen if you dont report them your an accomplice.

Who said they knew the person and that the person went around an informed the other 49 people he/she was under age. The info below is the section they use to find all 50 minors in violation for the one person that was drinking. They establish this by breathalyzer. this happens at least every two weeks. See the bold. My definition is I guess different for possession. It is different for the state as well. Ordinance violations are preponderance of the evidence and not beyond reasonable doubt. It's a 6 person jury pool that the person being charged with the violation pays for, so I guess for most it works out cheaper to just pay the fine than hire an attorney and fight it. Remember it's more about money than anything....
(e) It is unlawful for any person to transfer, alter or deface such an identification required in subsection (d) of this section, use the identification card of another, carry or use a false or forged identification card or obtain an identification card by means of false information. It is unlawful for any person to purchase, accept delivery of or have possession of alcoholic liquor in violation of this section.
Alcoholic liquor shall not be consumed by any person under the age of 21 years.

How I know where the codes are is that I was on vacation and was going fishing. Had my boat attached to my truck and it was parked on the street in front of my house for more than 24 hours (my depart was delayed a day)and one my neighbors called. So I moved it into my front yard which was okay. -LOL I always wondered why the guy down from me would bring home a flatbed trailer once in a while and always park it in his front yard, now I know. There must have been some knob that left a trailer parked long term in front of their own house or someone else's at one time or another for the code...
