ty sooo much for all the kind comments espically murph, thankyou for all ur help with sps i couldnt have gone this far without ur expertice and ur quick responces. i will be ordering some more sps in the comming weeeks and getting some clams. for now though i will just let everything grow out

how have u found your alk and calcium consumption to be??

alk and calcium are at 420 and alk is 10. idk its kinda like if i dose 2 part one day then check ca levels and alk the next its like 400ca and 8.5 alk. also i have one question. do u think that a geo ca reator would be way way way to much over kill. the reason i would go with such a big one is so i can use it for future tanks.

u can always tune it down.... what size tank do u have again and what size is that reactor rated for??
my reactor is rated up to like 300g but its barely keeping up with my 180... i do have alot of stuff in it thought

lol 29gallons i kinda was hoping to get like all my over kill equiptment which will take me well over a year and while im getting it hook it up to the 29 so when i get my 125 or build my own all i wont have to buy equiptment

well i think u can do it with that thought in mind.. reactors are tricky as it is on getting them set up properly with the flow of the effluent and the bubblkes per minute of CO2 but once u get them dialed in they are cost effective in the long run and easier to use less maintenance and thats what im all about getting the tank to run itself for the most part.
when and if u get the reactor ull just turn it on really slow at first and slowly ween off the 2 part while ur figurin out how fast to run the reactor... during that time u will have to check daily on alk and ca to make sure they dontswing too much especially in smaller tanks it can be very detramintal

alright kool i think ill set up another 29 with just salt water and c if i can get it dialed into that then once i figure that out hook it up to my actual 29 display tank. hopefully in the next year or so i can get my 125 with the works. thxs again man for all ur help
