Just wanted to share some photos and thank many of you who helped me get to where I am today. Still alot to learn but dont know where I would be without the help of this board. As always I am more than open to critiques or questions. Only 4 pics but 3 of my favorites and one full tank shot.

nice tank, i live all of the sps corals in there, I think it really gives it a nice "real looking reef" effect. I just purchased some sps frags. They haven't grown any. Where do you get your frags?

O yah, and you must have a really nice camera, those macro shots of the fish and the frogspawn are incredible.

Thanks for the compliment Hopkins I actually got the majority of my SPS from local reefers in trades. As for purchasing I have probably purchased 15 corals and just use them to trade with thats the beauty its gonna grow so you can get little pieces and just watch them do what comes natural. I remember when I got my first SPS (probably only 4 months ago watch out they are addicting). I feel I am some what blessed because this tank here has only been set up for roughly 2 months (started with a 6 gallon nano In December, switched to a 29 in March, than the 90 started up in August) THIS IS A VERY ADDICTING HOBBY!!!! Luckily I feel that my tank is adequately stocked so now just sit back and watch it grow (and probably try to squeeze a few more frags in).

No problems as of yet obviously the pipe fish is a slow feeder and all I decided to get a Pipefish becasue I am so fascinated by them. I see the pipe fish picking at the rocks all the time as for feeding time havent seen him go crazy over the food i put in but he definitly perks up and starts swimming around (cant tell if he is actually consuming anything though).

So you trade sps corals? Who do you trade them with? You sould post some more pics of your sps and other corals. (in my other thread, i don't really know what you mean about the magnets on the powerheads(look at other thread for more details))

Damn man that is insane. I love the pipe fish that thing is intense. Keep us updating on pics in the next few months I love to see how it looks in 3 to 6 months time. That tank is going to have so much color and fullness to it. Good work and good luck in the future man. Also are pipe fish hard to keep? how well has yours been doing? and what is your up keep for that fish?

AMAZING TANK!!!
I was wondering how do you keep your sand so clean and white and pretty? Do you use gobies?

Nope no gobies have a significant amount of snails in there and really have never had an algea problem (knock on wood). Other than syphoning a little out each week for water changes nothing drastic.

How much current do you have in the tank? Does the pipe fish do ok with the current? I thought they couldnt handle strong currents.
