Some things on my new live rock, in new tank

I just bought a biocube the other day and I put some live rock in there today.
What is the thing in the first picture, anyone know?
And also I have seen a little clear shrimp crawling on the rocks. He has hidden himself somewhere, so there's no pic of him.

cool. so what does a chiton do? are they bad for the tank? I looked them up and it says they are kind of sluggish. Thanks for identifying that.

Not at all! They will go live under your live sand to stirr it up abit! You will enever see it when it will go under... They eat anything small enough to get sucked by their mouth. NP for ID!

very cool! i've never seen a live one before in person. I found a dead one at the beach once and they have a really cool shell. thats neat you got one.
