is there any chance of a tomato clown killing another fish? even eating it?
Also....i had a snail in my tank, one of two anyways, and it has left it's shell in the sand....where is the snail? I have this enenami type guy stuck to the side of my live rock.....it opens and closes.....expands and contracts.....and moves from here to there, but only moves location about once every 2 months. It's like a light brown color...with little "tenticles" (if you want to call them that) and a light pink color in the center of it.
any ideas as to what this is.....and if the snail transformed or somthing....
I clearly am a beginer and have no idea whats going on..hahaha...
thanks

For the Tomato Clown, it will be agressive towards other clowns, thatll be the only type you can get, same gos for the Maroon clown. They should be able to get along with other types of fish.
The snail probably died, because snails dont "move house" like hermit crabs.
The anenome you have might be aiptasia(theyre no good, theyll breed like crazy and move around stinging oother corals), go do a search on the boards and see if it looks anything like the ones on here.

I have a tomato clown and she is the Queen of the tank and lets everyone know. She has taken some good size chunks out of the tail of my firefish and had some problems bullying a clarkii clown I had.

The "anemone" sounds to me like aiptasia, a nuiasance creature that could multiply to plague praportions if left unchecked. Here is a pic. If this is it, kill it immediately. Do a search on aiptasia here and will get all the info you need.
