Somebody Ate My Fish!!!

I came home today and my foxfaced rabbit figsh was MAULED! he was transparent and all eaten up uck! he was always very pale though. all the water parameters were great. Im wondering if someone was picking on him or he didnt get enough food. I have a maroon clown and a yellowtailed damsel. Oh and a half pink half yellow thing ( I can never remember what it is called) the half and half thing is hidding in a plant and wouldnt come out to eat tonight. Also I found no evidence of disease. thanks!! :notsure:

Was the foxface the newest addition to the tank? If so, the clown and damsel in there probably did it as a team effort because they are both known to be territorial fish. Foxfaces are not very aggressive whatsoever, so once he first started getting picked on, that was the end for him. You said he was pretty pale all the time too, which is never good because territorial fish like that sometimes tend to pick on the weak because they know they can.
Plus, it sounds like you have a diadena basslet in the tank (pink/yellow guy), and they are also known to be a pretty territorial and nippy fish.
