Haha i was just there and it seems nudibranches are almost impossible to keep in the home aquarium due to the fact it's almost impossible to keep there food supply..if you even know what it is in the first place. so my hopes have been shattered!!!

anything else i can research and make a nice post about>?

ok you want info on nudis, i could give you tons as i am fasinated by them as well. Problems arise and most takes dont have even th potencial even if your tried. first they are Very short lived and often reroduce before they die and im not realy sure any have been captive raise. the live from 3 months to 1 year for most and ayear is a Very good accomplish with them. The second and biggest obsticle is they have a very special diet. from a certain type of coral to tunicates. most food sources are hard to get even once in the hoby and feeding them is extreamly hard to accomplish in most tanks. it's like puting a linka in a ten gallon with lr. even if u somehow got a specific food they would eat it and eventualy starve unless your have a large tank, fast coral growth and willing to have them devour coral. Another thing is most people think of nudis as very bright and awsome patterns. As this is very true it most likly represents either they are toxic (when they die they can release toxins) and they match a bright colored coral. This most likly means a very specialized diet and means a no no on getting it. So you will be very limited in hat is possible in your tank. I know this ruule does not apply for all, but most abide. so if you have the specific tank and availibility to food go for it. only rember how much $$ goes into a tank that has hat are expensive that only die in 6 months.
hope this answers everything

i just read that the nudi's don't even bother releasing the toxins when they die only when they get injured or are threatened. It was stated that when they die it's the same as if any other fish died because they have no reason to release the toxins.
