Someone Help My Cowfish

a few weeks ago i put a post up saying that my cowfish has big white clumps on his fins. nobody really gave me any advice on how to get rid of them. so i tried using medications that the lfs gave me, well he still has them. can someone please tell me what it is and what to give him?

What do these clumps look like? Have they gotten bigger? Are there more of them? Is the fish acting normal otherwise.
What species of cowfish is it??
I dont' know much about cowfish, as I told you before but perhaps what you are seeing is normal. What does the problem are look like?
He's a nice pic of a cowfish with many spots on it ....including the tail. What is the difference between this and your fish?

they look like big white clumps of salt, they are only on his fins. he is the same species as that one(longhorn cowfish). they seem to be the same size, but there are more of them. the fish is eating and seems to be acting fine. it isn't just the blue spots, these are 3d they are round and on his fins only.

It just seems very odd to me that a fish could have ich for this long a time and still not show any ill effects...and the "ich" is only on the tail. I'm not convinced that there is a problem. Are there any other fish with him, and, if so, do they show any sign of ich?
Can you get a pic of just the tail area up? By chance did you try hypo on the fish already?

i dont think it's ick. it's a big clump. i dont know though it could be. you said to stop doing water changes so im not sure if i have achieved 1.009 yet.

the salinity is very low because he just went through hypo(i think), im using a swing arm. is this contagious to other fish? what vitamins do you soak the food in? thank you so much for your help.
