something aint right

:needhelp: I was wondering if there is a specific way on putting the skimmer inside my sump? Rather than just dropping it in, do I need to be aware of anything, certain height, distance, etc.? my sump is 201/2 x 91/2 x 16 and Im running a Euro Reef. It just seems like my skimmer isnt working right i've waited four weeks before dropping it in.

Sometimes skimmers won't work right unless the water is at a certain height with them. Try sitting it on top of something to raise it up.
I know the AquaC urchin can sit in or out of your sump regardless of how high the water comes up and still work fine.

I raised the water level in my sump after adding my skimmer. If your water level is too low you'll notice a ton of bubbles in your sump that will more than likely end up back in your tank.
